Pernod Ricard es una empresa francesa que produce bebidas alcohólicas. Los productos más famosos de la compañía son, Ricard Pastis, es un licor de anís, y a menudo identificados simplemente como Ricard. La empresa también produce varios otros tipos de pastis.

Cuando en Francia fue prohibido el ajenjo o absenta en 1916, los mayores productores (Pernod y Ricard, que luego se fusionaron en la Pernod Ricard) reformularon la receta introduciendo anís estrellado, anís verde y regaliz, añadiendo azúcar y reduciendo el contenido de alcohol al máximo permitido por la ley. Desde entonces la receta ha cambiado considerablemente y cada marca tiene su receta. La mayoría incorporan también hinojo.

La empresa que renació a partir de la pequeña compañía Pernod Fils, como productora de licores anisados luego de la prohibición del absenta, se ha convertido actualmente en un conglomerado de alcance mundial. Es dueña de la empresa Austin, Nichols y de la división de bebidas alcohólicas de la antigua corporación Seagram, entre muchas otras empresas que controla.
